In this intensive class, participants will embark on a journey of creativity and self-expression as they dive into the captivating art of contemporary mosaics.

Throughout this class, students will have the opportunity to explore both the theoretical and practical aspects of contemporary mosaic art. From understanding the fundamental principles of composition to mastering the language of andamento, participants will gain a solid foundation in the art of designing and creating contemporary mosaic projects.

With guidance from our experienced instructor, students will learn to work with basic mosaic tools, such as the hammer and hardie, gaining proficiency and confidence in their handling. Furthermore, they will discover the art of seamlessly incorporating different types of materials into their projects, adding texture, depth, and visual interest.

By the end of this workshop, participants will not only have expanded their knowledge and skills in contemporary mosaics but will also have created their very own original artwork. Each student will proudly walk away with a completed mosaic measuring approximately 20x30 cm, a testament to their creativity and dedication.
